Our Clients

Our sole purpose is to support and treat those challenged with serious mental illness and poverty. We are unique because every client lives at or below poverty guidelines. Services are funded by the TennCare Medicaid Program or Safety Net funds.

As reflected in our logo, clients are the center of the team, alongside Care Managers, Psychiatric Providers and Therapists, as we work together to help meet behavioral health needs. MHC is a leading provider of primary care/behavioral health integrated partnerships in the state of Tennessee.

Our services are unique because we treat the whole person and focus not only on behavioral health but on physical health, as well. This integration of behavioral and physical health by a team of professionals provides treatment and support both in the office and in the community where the person lives.

Integrated Health Care

From behavioral needs to physical needs, MHC provides integrated care for the whole person, so that everyone can experience hope and live a full life in the community.

Care Management

Care Managers work alongside Providers and Therapists to help support and be an advocate for our clients. They are in the community with the clients and are the ``secret sauce`` to MHC's model of care.

Emergency Psychiatric Services

MHC has a state of the art facility in Nashville designed to provide immediate access to specialized care for adults and children experiencing a psychiatric emergency. We have triage counselors available 24/7/365.

Supportive Services

MHC offers a variety of support services to help our clients with basic needs. From transportation to appointments, finding housing, and even offering Representative Payee services, we strive to remove barriers several of our clients face on a daily basis.
